Support That Fits Real Life

Practical support for families navigating tics and Tourette Syndrome.

We look beyond the tic at movement, sleep habits, routines, and what matters to your family.

How I Can Help

Parent Coaching

Feel more prepared for everyday challenges.

Parent coaching is individualized support for parents and caregivers to learn and practice strategies for helping their child in everyday life.

During our sessions, we work through situations your family faces—such as routines, transitions, outings, or moments when you’re unsure how to support your child.

I teach and model practical strategies, help you plan how to use them, and guide adjustments based on what’s working for your family. Together, we focus on making everyday challenges more manageable with support that fits your family’s life.

Individual Behavior & Movement Support

Help your child build skills for the things they want to do.

I work directly with your child to combine practical skill-building with adaptive fitness—exercise and movement tailored to their interests, abilities, and goals.

Through behavioral support, I break everyday skills into manageable steps, model strategies, and guide your child through practice.

Through adaptive fitness, I adjust exercises, games, and movement activities to support their participation while working on physical skills such as strength and coordination.

Depending on your child’s needs, we might practice navigating transitions, completing daily tasks more independently, or joining an activity they enjoy.

The focus is on building skills, independence, and confidence your child can use in everyday life—not just during an appointment.

CBIT / Tic Support

Find practical support for bothersome tics.

I work directly with your child to understand which tics bother them and how those tics affect everyday life. When appropriate, support includes Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT)—a behavioral treatment that teaches practical tic-management skills. I help your child recognize their tics and the urges that may come before them, then learn and practice a competing response—a specific action that cannot happen at the same time as the tic.

We also look at situations that make tics harder to manage and identify helpful adjustments to routines and surroundings. I use guided practice and help you support these skills between appointments, with a focus on what your child wants to do more comfortably.

Your child does not need to be tic-free to participate and enjoy life.
